How to Party like a Playboy!

Submitted by Tajeshwar Grewal on June 2, 2009 – 5:32 pmNo Comment

partyThrowing a great party isn’t rocket science, but shindigs can easily die on the launch pad. Here’s how to ensure you have a blast.

1. GREET EVERYONE
Make sure you greet each and every guest personally.

2. MIX THE MUSIC
Music is the single most important factor. Themes are outdated. Do an eclectic mix.

3. LET THEM PARTY
Let the people who know each other have there fun and get along. But more importantly make it possible for the people who’ve just met to get to know each other.

4. FUSE THE FOOD
Food-wise, fusion’s the trend, despite being a gloriously abused term. Want something fun? Go Japanese.

5. CUT THE LINES
A fight brooting up? The etiquette is to simply not allow them to do it. Try to separate them delicately from the others. Rowdy scenes are just trashy.

6. SPEAK EASY
Give a speech. It’s charmingly old-world, non-gimmicky and completely unexpected.
